Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Education, Society and Policy (IJESP) welcomes high-quality manuscripts that contribute to research and scholarly discussion in the fields of education, social sciences, and public policy. Authors are encouraged to carefully follow the guidelines below when preparing and submitting their manuscripts.

  1. Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Theoretical or Conceptual Papers
  • Policy Analysis Papers
  • Short Communications and Case Studies
  1. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be written in clear and concise English and prepared using standard academic formatting.

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font size: 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
  1. Manuscript Structure

Authors should organize their manuscripts in the following order:

  • Title of the paper
  • Author name(s) and affiliation(s)
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords (4–6 keywords)
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review
  • Methodology
  • Results / Findings
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • References
  1. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should briefly summarize the purpose of the study, methodology, key findings, and implications. Authors should provide 4–6 keywords that reflect the main topics of the paper.

  1. Citation and References

IJESP follows the APA (7th Edition) citation and referencing style. All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa.

  1. Originality and Plagiarism

Submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished and should not be under consideration by any other journal. All submissions will be checked using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with significant plagiarism will be rejected.

  1. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, academic rigor, clarity, methodology, and contribution to the field.

  1. Ethical Considerations

Authors must ensure that their research complies with ethical standards. Any potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed. Research involving human participants must follow appropriate ethical guidelines.

  1. Submission Process

Authors should submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system or official email as indicated on the journal website. The editorial team will acknowledge receipt and initiate the review process.

  1. Copyright and Licensing

Upon acceptance, authors may be required to sign a copyright agreement or publication license. The journal may publish articles under an open-access license depending on the journal’s publication policy.
